nicollet st.
nicollet avenue is located in south minneapolis.
it is affectionately called eat street because of the hundreds of shops
and restaurants that are located there. nicollet st. and ornaments are
a juxtaposition of commerce and the vernacular of the hand-lettered signs
found on the buildings.
